Life is a Marathon
So how are you doing? Did your habits of 2007 render you Happier?
Healthier? In Better Shape? More Energetic? Excited? Or are you
starting over again in 2008?
This newsletter deals with the idea that " Life is a Marathon"
If you are still trying to find that magic pill, lotion, food,
or work out forget it. In fact if you watch T. V. at all you know
that the number of drugs coming out is increasing everyday. The
side affects are actually comical and the overall health status
of our country, especially our children is in severe jeopardy. The
wonder drug of last month is now on the top of the list to avoid
and attorneys are soliciting your business to determine if your
were harmed or injured due to taking these so called "Medicines".
Too many children are not exercising, are severely overweight and
actually stand a chance of either not outliving their parents or
not living nearly as long.
Truth is that you need to understand how your body works and get
"FIT" for life. LIFE IS A MARATHON. You need to understand
that you are the caretaker of your body and health and you need
to learn how diet, exercise, rest, posture, and stress affect you.
Now even though life is a marathon, you don't have to run one!
Thank God for that, as I hate to run. But I love to ride my stationary
bike and I have been for the last 15 plus years 3-5 times per week.
So the point is that you need to find something that you will do
at least 3 times per week for 30 minutes and DO IT! You need to
realize that no matter how good you shop, cook and plan for healthy
meals unless you are taking food supplements you are undernourished.
Our soil is depleted, food is radiated, loaded with chemicals, and
due to our fast paced life we often eat out and therefore do not
get the farm fresh foods that grandma and grandpa use to eat. Your
body is under pressure. Physical pressure from gravity, poor posture,
bad mattresses, bad ergonomic work- stations, and work itself. Life
itself is STRESSFUL or haven't you noticed! We live in this beautiful
paradise called San Diego, but with that comes high expense for
everything and the "price" we pay is PRESSURE. This pressure
is translated into pain, tight muscles, headaches, fatigue, insomnia,
lack of energy, and lack of excitement for living.
So what's the answer? The answer is to have a plan that includes
exercise, diet, food supplements, rest, chiropractic, massage, and
relaxation and do it consistently for a lifetime. Your plan should
not vary from year to year. Maybe to add to it or tweak it a little,
you don't need a New Year's Resolution, you need to be consistent
for the rest of your life. If there is a magic solution, I just
gave it to you. Take a look at how much of the "bad" stuff
you are doing and weigh it against how you look and feel, and if
your honest with yourself you already know what you need to do.
JUST DO IT!
Start to exercise, reduce coffee, sugar, and fat, quite multitasking
constantly and RELAX. Read a good book and turn off the television.
Increase your water consumption, increase your sleep or reduce it,
take some good food supplements and decide that you are going to
get fit, get pain free, get off or reduce so called " medicines"
and enjoy this life.
I have lived this for twenty- five years I know it works. If it
works for my family and me it will work for you and your family.
There is nothing special about us we just stick with the plan. We
get adjusted, we work out, take nutritional supplements, get massages
and utilize acupuncture when needed.
To make this PREVENTIVE CARE financially available I continue to
offer the best adjustment at a very reasonable price as well as
many different family programs. If the time is right for you and
your family to start wellness care please give me a call, I would
love to answer your questions and go over our programs with you.
Remember we still love you if all you want is relief care! Walk-ins
